Woven in Moonlight was an enchanting book. The story, while not the most original, had great new elements and really drew me in.
I really loved the fantastical and romantic elements and can't wait for the next book in this series. Ximena was a strong main character and I loved watching her evolve as she learned things are not quite what they seem. The banter between Ximena and Rumi was also so much fun; just such a pleasure to feel like a fly on the wall during.
The magical elements were perfect touches and I really enjoyed the woven elements. I wish there was a bit more world building for further immersion though.
The cover and writing is lush and beautiful. Definitely highly recommended.
