I loved the cover art for this book; this is really what made me fall in love with it. I love that this story is set in Bolivia, a place where we do not see many stories set or taking place. It is obvious that the author loves her heritage and culture, and she is very well-versed and knowledgeable about it. The imagery and colors of this book are stunning and I love Ximena and Rumi's characters. They foil well and really help keep the pace of the book going. At first things seemed to be happening very quickly but then it slowed down and the plot was able to grow. I liked the ending and cannot wait for the sequel to come out soon! Isabel Ibañez has a gift at writing colors and imagery and making you really see parts of the story.
