I've heard good things about this book and the mythology used is one I'm unfamiliar with and look forward to this book. I have this book on my TBR list and am excited to read it. I enjoy books that explore other cultures, real or imagined. I also like strong female characters in a leadership role.
It's a story where the female characters has a brain and doesn't necessarily need a man in her life. She can make her own decisions about what she wants from life and isn't afraid to go after it herself. It's a sign that publishing is becoming more diverse and publishing more books like this one. It shows young women that they can be smart, beautiful and strong if they just stand up for themselves and go for it.
