One of the greatest pleasures of reading the Young Adult genre is getting the opportunity to enjoy many diverse landscapes, mythology, and characters. Woven in Moonlight is one such story and I feel really lucky to have been able to read this book because it was one of the best YA books I have read in a long time. Ximena is a wonderful character, full of passion and honor and magic. She can actually weave thread out of moonlight. She is a decoy Condesa (which is an Illustrian royal) and when she is obligated to marry Atoc, the man responsible for driving usurping the land from the Illustrians, she finds herself in the unique position to take her revenge. This is a wonderful book that highlights Bolivian culture and it is a must read for fans of great YA titles.
