Woven in Moonlight is a rich, magical fantasy full of secrets. Ximena is a decoy for the Condesa, sent to marry the king who conquered their people. She is determined to steal the magical artifact which let the king take over and use it to reestablish the real Condesa as queen. I loved all the characters, but I especially loved Ximena and Rumi. Ximena has a great character arc and really grows throughout the story. At first, I was really annoyed with her and the rash decisions she kept making, but she learned from her mistakes and as the story went on I fell in love with her character. There were also detailed descriptions of food that made me hungry and wish I was there so I could taste it. Ximena's magical talent is super cool and I wish the magical talents were explored a little more in this story. Overall, this is a great story that is super enjoyable.
