I find that I really did enjoy reading this book. It has a lot of elements and details that pull you into the story and keep you engaged until the last page. Isabel Ibanez's tone of voice has a clarity to it that jumps off the page with clarity, and the main character as well as the love interest are fleshed out in a manner that shows a great amount of depth. However, I do believe that she could have taken more time with honing out the timeline. The story (which takes place over the span of 6 weeks) feels rushed and seems to relay on deus ex machina events more than is necessary. If Ibanez had give or take added a hundred more pages I believe that she would have been able to provide better solutions to the problems that the characters face.
