As someone who has grown up in a Spanish household, I loved seeing the food, language, and characteristics so close to my own. The author did a good job of incorporating it into the story naturally.
As for the story, I really liked how it shows both Condesa and Catalina separately as well as coming together as sisters. I find there is beauty in the strength of family, and through just the little bit I was able to read it shone through.
I thoroughly enjoyed the preview of this book and cannot wait to read I fully.
