Interesting plot, not sure about characters yet

The plot setup is intriguing and seems ripe with possibilities! I’m not completely sure how I feel about the characters yet. The Condesa seems a little too soft hearted for her position and Ximena a bit too impulsive and untrained. It’s early on so this could be part of a character arc setup, so who knows!
