Full of vibrant details that set the scene for an interesting world!

There were so many vibrant details in this excerpt that really painted a vivid picture of the world in which this was set. I felt transported into a world wrought with conflict, feeling the tensions that our protagonist's feels from the beginning. I cannot wait to see where this storyline leads, and I definitely want to add this one to my TBR!
