This isn’t necessarily the book I would pick up in the store, but the story sounds interesting, and absolutely heartbreaking, which is more so the reason I wouldn’t be inclined to grab it. I can’t imagine being in a situation like this, and I worry that as a reader, it would hinder my love for the story, as well as perhaps be an intensity level that I don’t know if I’m prepared for.
