The cover and synopsis of this book drew me in!! Then when I heard that it was being compared to The Lord of the Flies! Done!!
This book is a quick read that left me wanting more with every turn of the page. This book definitely delivered on the Lord of the Flies comparisons! The group of girls start to turn on each other as they try to survive on an island full of danger. The island and school were characters of their own. I think the setting was my favorite part. This book was full of skin crawling atmospheric feels. There were several moments that I was completely spooked! I loved the relationships amongst the girls. The main character developed and grew throughout the story. I do wish the book would have ended in a different way.
