I recently read Lord of the Flies and enjoyed it, so I was extremely interested to see what this author decided to do with a twist of girls with little bit more of a gory side of the book.
It's such a cool idea to see an author take a classic and give it a little bit of sparkle and change it into something new, yet still a bit of a classic.
Having all the characters be girls just really shows the new age and how the world is changing. I thought it worked so incredibly well with this story.
