I’m not a big horror reader so I was reluctant to try this book but I kept seeing the intriguing cover all over social media so I had to give it a try.
This book is so intense. The body horror aspect was hard to stomach but I also couldn’t stop reading.
I was fully invested about a chapter in and I devoured this book in two sittings. It proved to be great distraction reading while I recovered from surgery.
I loved that it was an all girls cast, and it definitely had Lord of the Flies vibes. This book had so many twists and turns that let me guessing and turning those pages, desperate to find out what new horror awaited the main trio.
The ending hit me as abrupt but wow, what a book. Gay as heck, too. I really enjoyed this.
