Have you ever felt obsessed with a book before its released because that's how I felt about this title. I wanted to sell everything to have an ARC because I needed it the second I started traveling into this atmospheric world. The more and more I saw about this book, the fact that it is sapphic horror, I knew my life was in for a better change. The uniqueness of the narrative exists within its voice and world building with the sort of horror that digs at your underneath your skin, the type that is much preferred over a jump scare. The sort that is atmospheric where you can't quite breath while waiting to find out what happens next. I wish I was the sort of person able to sit for long periods of time because I would've read this from start to finish right away only to reread it moments later because I already am ahead. I want more quarantine novels.
