Disclaimer: Unfortunately, I did not finish this book. However I do believe this book will appeal to the Hunger Games/Divergent crowd and will be a success. I was attracted to the concept of Lord of the Flies with girls. However I kept tripping over the medical references. The thought of stitching an unclean wound just left me wincing. I couldn't get past it and was not able to find the story medically believable or sustainable in any way. I put it down after 100 pages. It's definitely YA and it has a beautiful cover. I will make sure it gets into the hands of someone who is not in the medical profession so they can appreciate it. Thank you to Underlined and BookishFirst for sending me the ARC.
