What a gorgeous cover for this book. The cover alone is what made me pick up the book to read. And what a pleasant surprise! The book is addictive and intense.
The girls are isolated on an island, away from the mainland, with no outside contact except for supplies. They are under quarantine. With dwindling supplies, they have to fight for every little bit they can get. They are malnourished and weak from being infected by the Tox, and they have to get wilder to survive.
It has a feel of Lord of the Flies, Maze Runner and Orleans to it. It will keep you on your toes.
