Going into the book automatically the writing style of the book was off to me. I had to get used to and once I realized early on that I had to take my time with reading and once I did I started to like the writing style. The first two chapters was eerie. I like how the author makes you feel as if you are right there with the characters. It sounds like a great book to read during Halloween or just during the fall. I am interested to read this book now and see how the rest of the book continues. I did not connect with the character that was speaking but I am sure that once I make more progress with the book then maybe I will be more invested with the characters and the plot. It's just ok now
