I really enjoyed it!
So far, this book seems very intriguing.
Firstly, I like how the author provides a solid background fairly early on. We are introduced to the characters and get a pretty good sense of their personalities. The Tox/school/quarantine situation is explained just the right amount, to the point where I'm not confused, rather just enough to interest and draw me in.
Secondly, I really enjoy the author's style. It's not too fluffy or flowery, instead, it's the perfect combination of concise while still being descriptive.
ALSO, DO I SMELL REPRESENTATION?!? ("It made something jump in my chest, something I can still feel at night when Reese’s braid casts a rippling glow on the ceiling. A reaching. A wish.") I applaud the author for including this.
All in all, I can't wait to read more!
