Off the top this book reminded me of one I read for my AP Literature class in high school. It was called Never Let Go or something along those lines about people who live at a school who are clones of real people but don't know it. Hetty discovering things she never knew about her school or society is extremely similar to how the main character of Never Let Go also came to some shocking conclusions about how she was brought up and that hit close to home. This book also seems relatable to the current situation we're in but I have to admit I am frightened it might scare me lol. Hetty seems very determined and driven and doesn't seem like she will let anything stand in the way of finding her friend, no matter the cost. I am also interested to go on this journey with Hetty and find out what secrets she finds and be just as shocked as she is when she finds them.
