Wilder Girls by Rory Power is too depressing for my taste.

The writing is fast-paced. You get to read it from Hetty's point of view and get to know the pain, hunger and suffering of the girls living in Raxter School.for Girls. All the words are so beautifully weaved together that I just start reading and got absorbed in the world of Wilder Girls. The detail about this "Tox" that how it is either killing students and teachers alike or mutilating their bodies is depressing and disturbing. How the girls after being mutilated one time have to go through the pain again in seasons is a very disturbing image. The imagery by Rory Power in this book is excellent though. I got to have a clear picture of school, the yard and all of this so vivid in my head because the author has done really a great job at writing.
