Wilder Girls is the feminist action survivor story that you never knew you needed! If only this was required reading in high school instead of Lord of the Flies, no wouldn’t that be something! But alas, it wasn’t and I had to suffer through some boys running wild instead.
Wilder Girls completely pulled be in from the very first chapter. Without giving away any spoilers and believe me you WANT to be spoiled in this book! I will say that my heart was pounding and when a certain something happened I was shocked and definitely did not expect it to happen. Ok, now that I got the summary out of the way, lol, I will say that the characters were fleshed out and I loved the interaction between them. It worked well for the storyline and I thought it made for a great action thriller book. I wonder what would happen if the author ended up writing another book along the same lines.
