Vicious mutated animals, inevitable unavoidable gruesome deaths and government conspiracies completely contained within an all girls boarding school on an isolated peninsula?! Did I mention these all female characters act a bit... wild? (Cliché, I know.)

Not 30 pages in and I already find myself emotionally invested in these young women and the outcome of the “Tox”. I love that there is seriously something fishy going on here and there are almost no hints about what it could possibly be. The reader only gets bits and pieces of an impossibly large puzzle with no way to see the bigger picture, it left me wanting more and more and more.
Despite the dark circumstances and the overwhelming sense of doom that the girl shove down until they’re left numb, I found myself chuckling at parts!
I am loving the author’s writing style and the choice of cover art, it’s misleading and that makes it one thousand times better.
