I love the play on the Lord of the Flies, that part of the summary gripped me initially. But I’m interested to see how the mystery unravels. What is the mysterious illness? What happened to the characters? How will the story unfold? The book makes me think of someone who is mentally unraveling and I wonder if that’s part of the story.
