I enjoy historical fiction, so the premise sounds very interesting. The style of reading is simple and easy to understand. The plot does give me similar vibes to The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, which is one of my favorite books ever. However, I am not sure that the storyline will live up to Evelyn Hugo, but is still an interesting and fun read nevertheless. The cover is extremely beautiful, and does draw readers immediately to the book. From a first impression, the story seems to pickup pretty quickly and hopefully it will live up to its cover. I believe those who love historical fiction will enjoy this novel, but otherwise it could be skipped. The story also alluded to an impending plot twist, which I hope lives up to its potential and is done properly in the novel. Overall I would be excited to read the rest of this novel and to be immersed in this time frame.
