I don’t even know how to write this review because this story was so unique and interesting. I don’t even know how to explain this story.
This story (in a tiny way) gave me Evelyn Hugo vibes. The cover looks a lot like it and the story gave me some of the same aspects. Of course I enjoyed Evelyn Hugo more, but this story was so interesting and I was fascinated by it.
It’s a story I’ve never read before and I honestly didn’t know what to rate it. I took so much time gathering my thoughts and I ended up giving it a 3 star.
I did enjoy most of this story: the writing style, characters, storyline, setting. It was seriously all there. The book was well written and I enjoyed it.
However, the only reading why I knocked it down and didn’t enjoy it as much was because I didn’t connect with it at all. The book feels like it’s more for women and I didn’t relate with it.
I would still give it a go!
