This is one of those books that kept me needing more. It reminded me a lot of The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo in the way the writing and timelines are organized. There were so many real historical figures and events intertwined with this world of dance and flappers. Capone. Louis Armstrong. Lil Hardin Armstrong. I gave this one a solid ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ because I couldn’t get through it fast enough.
There were times where it felt like there were added details or information that was not necessary. I honestly really wanted more from Honoree's past and how Sawyer (present day) fit in to it all. It would have been an awesome book without Sawyer's part even.
