I really love historical fiction especially in the 20's. My first impression of the book was that I liked that it has different POV's and that it was male and female. I also love that the main character is a person of color just trying to make her way to the top. I am excited to see if Honoree can fill in the research gaps for Sawyer in her 110 years of age. I look forward to reading this one and taking a trip down memory lane with Honoree and experience the 1920's. The cover art on this book is also very very beautiful.
