Historical fiction really isn't my cup of tea, as I just truly do not find myself interested in most of the genre. I will say that dual timelines, and dual POV, do tend to grab more attention, as the reader is slowly revealed secrets about the past while following present day. I also found it interesting how Sawyers chapters are in first person, while Honorees are written in third person. I have also been informed (if this is indeed the book I'm thinking of) that there is a rape scene that occurs in this book, so I don't think I'm going to pick this one up. I hope those that do enjoy it though.
