I'm attracted to the plot of this book and to the character of Honoree. I admit I am not so far much interested in the modern day plot - kind of angsty, with too many standard romantic tropes. That's why this book rates a solid maybe for me. I'd try it, but not sure if it's for me after the excerpt.
