The cover is beautiful and hints at a beautiful story. I love historical fiction, and this time period is one of the best to delve into...the opulence and the music with a POC WOMAN as the main character? Sign me up, immediately. The dual-timeline storytelling is also AMAZING, if done well - and I think this one is going to be done very well!
