Wild Women and the Blues by Denny S. Bryce has the promise of a great historical fiction novel. The author is new to me but I always enjoy reading an author’s debut novel. I enjoyed reading and becoming familiar with all the characters the author so expertly created and wove into the storyline. This is a brilliantly written novel that combines the 1920’s Jazz Age and includes all the vibrant elements of excitement, love, danger, ambition and courage. Reading the First Impression excerpt captivated me and I rated it a five.
