I decided to read this excerpt because the cover is gorgeous and I adore anything from other eras.
I don't often see claustrophobia mentioned in books unless it's being used for some sort of romantic scene, so I enjoyed that bit. The character also seems interesting as well! I found the dialogue entertaining and would like to read more of this book!
