It is rare I am unable to put a book down. But Wild Woman and the Blues immediately sucked me into a whirlwind tale that captures the magic of the 1920s and mixes it with the groundedness of the present. The few pages I read left me on the edge of my seat in anticipation for the new developments that would occur in the lives of the characters. With brilliantly crafted settings and intriguing and mysterious characters, this tale of two stories merging to form one storyline is intense, creative, and definitely worth your time.
