Stories that connect events in the past to events now are always so interesting to me. Not only are they complex and compelling but they can hold significant meanings that make us think. This makes me excited to see where this book goes.
So far, I'm enjoying the writing style and how the story is being presented. Because the author uses terms from the era, some not so good, it allows me to be fully emerged in the story. It's also interesting to see a character when they were really young and when they are 110 years old. I'm looking forward to seeing the development of characters and plot.
