What I liked about 1984 by George Orwell most is the character development of Winston Smith and Julia. The way that they grew suspicious of each other, how they risked their own lives for love and knowledge. But most importantly, the love and betrayal when they were hit by the ugly reality of their own society while being tortured by the ministry of truth.
Everything about the story is stunning and captivating. From the moment you start reading you are hooked to finish.
