1920's Black Experience (and flappers)

What a start! The two different points of view are very different, but I liked how they played off one another already. Sawyer, in 2015, is looking to distract himself from tragedy by finishing a filming documentary starring the 1920's. Honoree is a black dancer in1925 at a sleazy, speakeasy but has dreams of bettering her life. They both have interesting pasts and I can't wait to see the depth of this story.
