Wild Game was exactly that - WILD. I know some people have very different relationships with their parents than I did with mine, but this was so far beyond my expectations. I had a very traditional mother-daughter relationship with my mum, where I was always treated as the child and I never knew anything about her troubles as an adult or a parent, and definitely nothing about her sex life.
The amount of “help” Adrienne was to her mother in support of her ongoing affair with a family friend BLEW MY MIND. I am certain I knew hardly nothing about what an affair even was at that age, however I am sure in the same situation I would have likely done the same as her. I mean, don’t ALL kids just love to be in on a secret? Especially a secret with adults! Her mother is fully to blame here, as I saw this story essentially as a years-long abuse of power and control over her daughters psyche.
