Well this is a deep dive into a family of dysfunction! So much so, I could not believe the lies and degree of betrayal that took place in this family. The author is incredibly brave for telling the secrets that she was entangled in for her entire life. What a blessing that in this chaos, there were positive influences in the author’s life that could show her light in her darkness.
I enjoyed the author’s telling of this story not only from her own perspective but from the perspective of those around her. It must have been difficult to share the most private details of her family secrets with the world but I also think it was a story that demonstrates you can break the circle of family dysfunction.
