What a crazy, interesting relationship that Malabar and Adrienne have with one another. It’s not your typical mother/ daughter bond, that’s for sure. I can’t imagine my mother and I encouraging this type of behavior at all, we barely even talk about our love interests/ relationships, let alone our sex lives. It seems that this affair can only lead to destruction of the entire family and for everyone around them that will become involved! I’m ready to see how all this betrayal goes down and just what makes these two women “extraordinary.” Drama! Drama! Drama!
I also find it quite intriguing that I just recently added a quote to my goodreads page that is very similar to a statement made in this book’s synopsis. That is that often those that are the closest to us hurt us the most just because they can.
