So intriguing; I want more!

I’ve always found the idea of affairs intriguing. I’m always curious about why someone engages in an affair because for the most part, everyone has very different reasons. This excerpt left me wanting more! Not only more about the affair but more about the boundaries between mother and daughter. Treating Rennie like a friend and confidante at such a young age, I want to know what transpired over the years! Give me more!! The cover is also interesting. Did the family enjoy sailing? Is that a real picture of the author as a young girl?
