I first received an email from NetGalley about an opportunity to win an ARC of this title and while I didn't read the description, or really look at the title, I assumed that this title may not be for me because of the picture. I assumed it may be a fictitious love story, or some tweeny romance novel. Later this afternoon I saw it was a Book of the Month Club pic and I looked a little closer at the cover and text. In smaller writing it says, "My mother, her lover, and me" which now leads me to believe that this may be a nonfiction title, and now I'm curious as to why her mom's lover would affect her in such a huge way that she'd need to write a book!
