While this plot looks like it could be interesting and impactful, it doesn't seem like the type of book that I would pick up to read. I could definitely see this book as becoming a book club book though just because of the content of the novel and the conclusion that we don't need to be the parents that our parents were to us.
I do like this cover, it catches my attention and the "My mother. Her lover. And me" part definitely draws you in.
