I have read memoirs in the past, but they tend to be about someone I've heard of in entertainment, etc, or they're about something quite unique. This one doesn't really fit the bill for me. I'm not sure I'd care to read about a mom who's best friends with her teen daughter and shares everything. While I wanted my mom to be my friend, this seems a bit too much. The concepts just seems odd and even awkward. Not for me.
