As a mom to a daughter who tells all of her friends that I am her best friend, this is fascinating to me because while my daughter is a very fun and charismatic and charming little girl, she is FAR from my friend. She's also 9 but I can see how some moms want to be friends with their teens and while that doesn't suit my own personality, I think it's not uncommon and to pull your child into infidelity?! Mind blown! I can't wait to see how this plays out for both mother but more so, the author (child).
