Interesting, but not for me

First, this is not the type of book that I typically read. I’m not sure if this would fall under adult or YA from just reading the excerpt. I’m not hooked and I do not know how I feel about the mother using her daughter as a confidant in cheating on her step-father. Someone may love this book, but that someone is not me.
