I was hooked from the beginning

The author had me at Cape Cod. I love reading books centered around the upper crust set of New England. The complicit and knowing smiles exchanged between mother and daughter during their dinner party and then the mother confiding in her daughter about her secret kiss had me intrigued. And it’s a true story?! I definitely want to read more.
