This memoir opens with a life that sounds so fascinating. The way the author describes her mother’s cooking, their lush lives, her brothers fishing really pulls you in and feel their narrative. After Rennie is awoken by her mother, her mother reveals she plans to explore an affair with Ben Sother. This first look definitely pulled me in and I can’t wait to read the rest of this journey.
