Well, firstly, I think I had a high expectation of this book which is soon to be a major motion picture.
Widows starts with a huge robbery that ended up into a tragedy. Then there are three totally different women who will carry on the previous plan of an unexecuted robbery. I did not get attached to any of the main characters: Dolly was a bit witty but not strong enough and the other widows (Linda and Shirley) were quite superficial. They were always "arguing" - I guess it was Lynda's intention of some interaction but I found it annoying.
The story was little slow and flat although the writing was very fluid and easy. I can say that I was surprised by the ending, which was unpredictable. Overall, entertaining.
