This took a little bit of time to get into, but once I got into the book, it was really refreshing to see some women take charge and lean on each other to reach their goals. Dolly and her "crew" decide to take up their husband's robbery job after their husbands' deaths. This is one of those books where you might cheer on the "bad girls" as well as the policemen trying to take them in. There is a lot of growth in each one of the main characters and they learn to rely on each other and themselves, which makes them more powerful on their own. It was quite a complicated plan and a few surprises in the plot. I hope Dolly finds what she is looking for and gives them a run for their money!! Lynda LaPlante is a master at the crime book and I really enjoy reading her work.
