A little repetitive, but fun

I really, really liked the description of this book and was super excited to read it - but what started off as a great story, sort of fell a bit flat for me.

Essentially the plot is a group of men are involved in a heist that goes horribly wrong and they all are killed, leaving their widows who had no idea of these lives their husbands were living. But ultimately, they decide to pick up where their husbands left off. Great idea right? It's like the new movie Oceans 8 with a bit of twist! They thought it was three, but it turns out there were actually 4 men, so they recruit a hooker as their 4th woman. They are all new to lives of crime, and it's really fun as they prepare to pull off the ultimate heist.

That's when it just fell flat. It got a bit annoying with the drama. Of course, why would 4 women get along? Why couldn't they rise up and be better than 4 men - and actually get along? The plot was a bit weak as well and had SO MUCH repetition. I started to get bored and a bit annoyed. So MUCH repetition. (see what I did there?)

I really liked the IDEA of this book and wished it had been done better but it felt rushed and forced. I WILL however read the next installments because the characters were developed really well, and I'd love to see this as a movie - and I hear we may get that wish!
